One of the favorite captains in the VIRGIN ISLANDS. Your owner/ host is a U.S Coast Guard licensed skipper with over 30 years sailing and chartering experience in the Mediterranean and Caribbean.

Caribean Yacht Charters Oliver was voted the best Captain by the Virgin Islands Charter Boat League for the years of 1990 and 1991. A native West Indian, from St. Lucia and was educated in Europe. Oliver knows these waters, bays and cays like no other. His knowledge of island lore, cultural information and shore side facilities is a valuable resource for guests, while his polite charm and wit are a constant source of enjoyment. Oliver is an avid sailor and a patient teacher. Searching out deserted anchorages for the best in snorkeling and dive areas is a particular specialty. He believes that fun, exploration, good sailing, and gourmet meals are what cruising and chartering are all about. Your Chef A professional chef/crew/hostess with outstanding charter experience ensures excellent dining aboard La Creole. Her assistance while sailing, and her miracles in the galley, will make your charter truly enjoyable. Gourmet meals aboard La Creole are served where and when you wish them, either in the main salon, or at the topside table under the bimini.

Chef - Ladan Raissi

Ladan Raissi earned her chef's certificate from the Natural Gourmet Cookery School in New York City. She completed an internship with the chef's throughout the U.S. She interned for Cheryl Perry, owner of CP Catering and for Angelica Kitchen, an organic restaurant specializing in seasonal cuisine. Ladan offers cooking lessons to individuals interested in entertaining guests for dinner parties. Trained in the properties and preparation of whole foods and the relationship of food to health, she works with clients in developing life-style menus. With her background in art and a passion for traditional ethnic cooking she offers creative approaches to her menus and presentation.

Prior to pursuing a culinary career, Ladan taught gifted children for seven years motivating her students to pursue their unique talents. She received her B.A in Communications at Mills College in California and spent a year in France studying art and the French language. She had the opportunity to complete a wine tasting course during her year abroad.
